Vans empowers itself through skateboarding. The sportswear fashion company, inspired in skateboard and surf, offers starting October 30 of this year, free of charge classes to learn how to skateboard. Lessons are available for all ages and take place in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, in the Vans Skatepark Sao Paulo.

Those interested in participating can enroll through the website or contacting directly the ambassadors of Vans Shoebox. Through an agreement with the government of the state of Sao Paulo, classes are given in collaboration with teachers from the skateboard park Cavepool in the city.

Classes take place every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, except for national holidays. Skateboards and all the necessary sports equipment to skateboard are available at the same skateboard park where classes take place. Under-age participants can also take part in the classes with the authorization of their parents or legal guardians.
