Carolina Herrera leaps into plus-size luxury with 11 Honoré
The Venezuelan designer, Carolina Herrera, announced she’ll be expanding her offer to plus-size and will be collaborating with the etailer 11 Honoré.
Carolina Herrera jumps on the bandwagon of body inclusivity with new plus-size offering. The Venezuelan fashion designer, who has dressed first ladies such as Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Michelle Obama announced its collaboration with luxury plus size etailer 11 Honoré.
The American ecommerce which describes itself as a “size inclusive shopping site”, currently sells offerings from Cushnie, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, and Marc Jacobs and will also house Carolina Herrara’s plus size-inclusive collection. The latter currently includes three pieces: A cotton shirt dress, a red carpet gown, and a red caftan, and will be offering sizes from 14 to 20 according to refinery29.
“We are honored to be introducing one of the most iconic American brands to 11 Honoré,” stated Patrick Herning, 11 Honoré’s founder. Carolina Herrera fashion brand joined Puig in 1995, the Spanish company reached a revenue of 269 million dollars in 2018, up 6% year-on-year.
