H&M starts 2019 on the rise: 10% growth in the first quarter
The Swedish company, number two in the world ranking of fashion distribution by revenue, has concluded the first three months of fiscal year with a revenue of 51.01 billion Swedish crowns (4.85 billion euros).
H&M begins 2019 at full strength. The Swedish company, number two of fashion distribution in the world by revenue, has started the first quarter with a 10% growth in its revenue. At constant exchange rates, sales increased by 4%.
In particular, the group closed the first three months of the fiscal year, between December and February with a revenue of 51.01 billion Swedish crowns (4.85 billion euros), as announced in a statement. The company will publish its full results on March 29.
The Swedish group managed to save the last year with a 5.2% growth, to 210.4 billion Swedish crowns (20.27 billion euros). In spite of that, the H&M’s operating profit fell in 2018, down 24.7%, to 5.49 billion crowns (1.49 billion euros).
