YSL beauty gets the airport treatment. The luxury company, owned by French holding Kering, has opened its first travel retail pop-up at the international terminal of the Singapore airport Changi T3.
The pop-up store, located at the Shilla Duty Free Changi airport store, is inspired in a Beauty Station, where customers can interact with professional makeup artists and play digital games to redeem the company’s products.
Emily Coleman, general manager, Yves Saint Laurent beauty travel retail Asia states that the company has “been pushing its boundaries in creating out-of-the-box retailtainment for all beauty travelers.”
Kering, also owner of companies like Gucci, Balenciaga or Bottega Veneta, has finished the third quarter of the year with a revenue of 3.8 billion million euros, up 14.2% from the same period last year.
