Zara Home adds new brands in the middle of lifestyle spin

Smeg toasters in Zara Home. The home line of Inditex speeds its diversification and enters new segments with new brands. From toasters and squeezers of Smeg, to Phaidon books and Berghoff pots and pans, these products will be part, starting in October, of the offer of the home line of Inditex.

This is the first time Inditex allies with other brands to complement its offer. Up until now, the group made punctual collaborations with brands like the one between Converse and Bershka.

Zara Home is in the middle of a process of integration with Zara. In the annual report presented last March, Inditex explained that starting from March, Zara will start commercializing Zara Home products in its stores. However, this fusion will not mean the closure of all Zara Home independent stores.  

In fact, in the last couple of months, the home line started adding elements like sunglasses and phone cases, and reinforced its garment offer, limited up until now to sleepwear. Since July, the brand commercialized garments and swimwear.

Zara Home is led by Lorena Mosquera since last year, who relieved Eva Cárdenas. This year Inditex launched a new decorating service for restaurants, hotels and companies. Zara Home was the chain with the best performance in 2016 and moved to the weakest in 2017.
