Adidas unveils new digital store concept in London

Adidas bets on digitalization for its retail experience. The German sportswear company has opened a flagship store in Oxford Street with a new concept focused in enhancing digitalization to improve customers in-store experience.

The new Adidas store has more than 26,900 square feet in four floors, 100 digital touchpoints powered with green energy, interactive fitting rooms and a scan system where shoppers can see the price, check stocks, request their size and make their purchase.

This is the first store of the groups’ new concept, that is focused in enhancing its customer experience through digitalization. Adidas closed the first half of its fiscal year with a revenue of 12.6 billion dollars, an increase of 5.4%. The group’s profit, on the other hand, rose 24%, up to 1.2 billion dollars.
