Pablo Isla
Chairman of InditexPablo Isla Álvarez de Tejera has been chairman of Inditex since 2011, when Amancio Ortega, founder of Inditex, stepped back from the position. With a law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, he was the first of his promotion and became a state lawyer. Between 1992 and 1996 he was director of the legal services of Banco Popular. He was subsequently appointed general manager of State Heritage in the Ministry of Economy and Finance. From July 2000 to 2005 he was president of the Altadis group, a company he left to join Inditex as head executive.
