PVH chief digital officer leaves the company

PVH’s digital chief exists the company. Maire Gulin-Merle,  chief marketing officer of Calvin Klein and chief digital officer of PVH, is leaving the group, according to WWD.

Gulin-Merle took her role as chief digital officer of PVH last May. The goal of the executive was to lead the global digital strategy of the group, owner of brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. “I am thankful to the PVH teams for their openness to change and ability to constantly challenge any form of status quo,” Gulin-Merle said.

PVH closed 2018 with a net profit rise of 38%, to 744.6 million dollars. The group’s revenue, on the other hand, registered a growth of 8.4% in the year, up to 9.1 billion dollars.  Calvin Klein’s business grew by 8.6% in the period, to 3.4 billion dollars.
