Fashion prices slow down in the United States: 1.6% drop in November

 

Fashion prices in United States drop in November with a 0.1% inflation recorded. During the consumer price index apparel fell 1.6%, according to US Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

 

Focusing on specific activity groups, menswear category had an annual fall of 0.9% in its prices, while womenswear register a bigger drop, 5.6%.

 

American footwear, instead, increased its prices 1.9% in November. Also, watchmaking and jewelry had prices up, in 1.8% and 0.8% respectively.
