Messe Frankfurt arranges Paris textile fairs under The Fairland for Fashion’s umbrella

Messe Frankfurt creates an umbrella brand for its textile fairs in Paris. The German organiser of fairs arranges its shows under The Fairland for Fashion slogan. In that way, the company reinforces the cohesion among the different shows it has released in the Le Bourget facility during last decade in order to strengthen Texworld.

Thus, under this umbrella are grouped Apparel Sourcing, the event dedicated to sourcing which gathers about 600 exhibitors; Avantex, of textile innovation, with about forty participants; Leatherworld, a tannery show with about sixty companies; Shawls&Scarves, of textile complements with thirty exhibitors; Texworld, a garment one, and the biggest in number of participants and lastly, Texworld Denim, which counts with seventy companies.

In total, the whole of the events add up to about 1,800 exhibitors which cover the whole value chain. The show’s next edition will take place from February the 11th to the 14th.

In the last edition, which took place in September, the whole of Messe Frankfurt’s textile fairs in Paris reduced 2.6% its affluence of public, but the figure of attendees stood again above the 15,000 assistants bar. About 80% of Texworld’ attendees and of all other events organised besides the main one, such as Apparel Sourcing, come from outside France.
