Pitti Filati opens the doors of its 86th edition with 136 exhibitors
The Italian knitting fair, which takes place from January 22 to 24, will host nineteen international companies at the Fortezza da Basso.
Pitti Filati opens its doors for a new edition. The Italian spinning fair, organized by Pitti Immagine between January 22 to 24 at the Fortezza da Basso fairgrounds, will host 136 exhibitors.
The majority of the companies, who take part in the fair, originate from Italy. Only nineteen stands are foreign, which come from Australia, China, Japan, Peru, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Swiss or Turkey.
In parallel, the hall will count with different spaces space, Fashion at Work, dedicated to consultancy, design, printing and software, and a second area, Custom Easy specialized in personalization in the fashion luxury industry. Moreover, Pitti Filati also will have a Knit Club space, for the study of the knit.
Italian industry spinning moved 2,760 million euros (3,060 billion dollars) in 2019, 5.8% less than the year before, as Confindustria Moda affirms. In parallel, the organization preview that exportations will drop 4,9% in 2019, to 806 million euros (893 billion dollars).
