The trade show organizer group keeps its Turkish offices active. Turkey is the third county with the highest exhibitor’s presence in Paris.
Première Vision finished its interannual rearrangement. The trade show organizer group, one of the biggest one in the world, has closed its Istanbul edition, the company explained to Mds.
The decision happens after the closure in the last couple of years of its events in Shanghai, Tokyo, Moscow and Sao Paolo. The goal happens so the group focuses in its two main editions: Paris and New York.
Despite all, Première Vision will keep operative its offices in the country, a strategic hub of its proximity sourcing and the third market with the highest number of exhibitors in the Paris trade show.
Première Vision has organized ten events in Istanbul since 2014
The last edition of Première Vision in Istanbul took place last March, in the cities congress palace, where more than 100 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors gathered.
The French trade show has been though a rearrangement process in the last couple of years with the closure of its events in Shanghai, Tokyo, Moscow and Sao Paolo. After its closure in Istanbul, Premiére Vision will have only its Paris trade show in Europe.
At the same time. The group has rearranged its portfolio during the las couple of years, with the acquisition of Zoom, Made in France or Cuir à Paris, amongst other trade shows. Also, the group cancelled its events Farex and Tissue Premier.
Première Vision is not the only trade show organizer to cancel shows in Istanbul, in 2016 Messe Frankfurt closed Texworld and Apparel Sourcing in the Turkish capital.
