The group has closed the first half of its fiscal year with a revenue of 280.9 million euros (309.9 million dollars), compared to 278.4 million euros (307.1 million dollars) a year ago.

Orchestra grows 0.9% in first half boosted by online

 

 

Orchestra speeds up thanks to ecommerce. The French childrenwear group has closed the first six months of its fiscal year with a growth of 0.9% in its revenue, up to 280.9 million euros (309.9 million dollars).

 

The revenue through the company’s ecommerce platform has boosted the group’s sales. With an increase of 30.3%, the revenue on the Orchestra website has reached 10.6 million euros (11.6 million dollars).

 

The company’s international sales rose 3.2% between March and August, to 70.8 million euros (78.1 million dollars). In France, the group advanced 0.8%, to 175.1 million euros (193.2 million dollars), while in Belgium and Luxembourg the group’s business has gone down, with a 3.1% drop, to 35 million euros (38.6 million dollars).

 

Until August 31, the children’s fashion company had 542 stores, most of them, 306 stores, are in France. In the first six months of the year, the French childrenwear company has closed four points of sale.
