Smcp grows in Italy: Claudie Pierlot opes in Corso Como
The womenswear brand, owned by Smcp, owner also of brands like Sandro and Maje, has opened its new store in Milan.
Claudie Pierlot wats to cocnquer the kingdom of premium fashion. The womenswear brand, owned by Smcp, owner also of brands like Sandro and Maje, has opened its new store in the Italian city. This is the third store of the group in the city.
The group is already present in Milan with two directly operated stores. The first one in Via Manzoni and the second one in Piazza Duomo. The group is also present with a concession in Rinacente Milan.
The company is also in Florence and Rome with two directly operated stores and six concessions in department stores. The store has the new concept of the company, that was unveiled in October in its new opening in Paris.

The company plans to to increase the brand’s exposure to an international audience, as stated by Jean-Baptiste Dacquin, chief executive officer, as well as implementing its new store concept in Covent Garden in London and in the 38 countries where the brand is present.
The company was founded in 1984 and its chaired by chief executive officer Jean-Baptiste Dacquin since April of this year. Claudie Pierlot’s revenue was 125 million euros in its last fiscal year and has 235 points of sale worldwide.
Smcp started listing in the Paris stock exchange since 2017 and it's controlled by the Chinese holding Shangdong Ruyi. With its three brands, the group had a total of 1,466 stores and in 2018 it reached sales for one thousand euros.
