Veja bets for retail. The French vegan sneakers company has taken a forward in the streets with the opening of its first standalone store. The company has opened a eighty square meters store in the Parisian neighborhood of Le Marais.
This year, the founders of the company took a step back in its management. The group appointed Laure Browne as chief executive officer in July, who has experience in companies in the sector such as Auchan Retail, Yves Saint Laurent or Marionnaud.
Veja was founded fifteen years ago by Sébastien Kopp and Ghislain Morillion and is specialized in the production of vegan shoes. The company, which concentrates its business in the United States and the United Kingdom, has a presence in more than 1,800 multibrand stores in 45 countries. The group ended 2018 with a revenue of 34 million euros.
