Anne-Marie Muñoz, former studio manager of Yves Saint Laurent, dies. Muñoz, who was in charge of the French luxury company design studio for four decades, passed away on January 3, at the age of 87 in Paris.
Muñoz began her career in the fashion sector next to French designer Christian Dior, whom she met back in 1951. After a decade working with the designer, Muñoz joined Yves Saint Laurent company.
Muñoz led more than 150 haute couture and ready-to-wear collections over the years, until 2002, when she retired from the company. During the years she worked in the group, Muñoz was a key figure in the designer’s team.
