Axel Dumas is a member of the sixth generation of the family that founded Hermès and its CEO since 2014. Dumas joined Hermès in 1993 and has served as managing director of operations, chief operating officer, and head of operations and sales before taking the reins. Dumas had worked in Paribas where he worked as a banker in Beijing and New York. Previously, he has held the position of brand commercial director of France. He graduated from Sciences in Paris and at Harvard University in the United States.
