Barcelona Fashion Summit comes back: February 6 of 2020

Fashion sales in the county grew 2.3% in 2018, up to 3.5 million euros and its estimated that they will grow 2.2% more in 2019, according to Statista.

Barcelona Fashion Summit comes back: February 6 of 2020

 

 

The biggest day of the fashion business in Spain comes back. Barcelona Fashion Summit (www.barcelonafashionsummit.com) warms up for its eight edition that will take place February 6 of 2020. The event, that in its latest edition gather more than 850 executives of the sector will take place in the Palau de Congressos in Barcelona.

 

Organized annually by Modaes.es and the support of the Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya (Ccam), the Barcelona Fashion Summit has as a goal to value the importance of the fashion business in the country and to create an environment of knowledge around the biggest challenges of the sector.

 

In its first edition, the event invited the assistants to think about the year that is about to start, under the title of, Fashion 2020:  Horizons of the fashion retailers. More than 300 executives joined the first edition that has grown since its start.

 

 

 

 

Every year, the event focuses in a theme of interest for the industry, in 2014, keys of the fashion leadership, in 2016 the digitalization challenge, in 2016 vectors of growth, in 2017 generational relieve and in 2018 a reset call was made.

 

The last event had as a title: Fashion year 0: keys to reinvent the fashion business and had the presence of executives of retailers like Inditex, Desigual or Pepe Jeans, experts from DDB or EY, amongst others.
