Première Vision joins the Materials Sports to take a leap into sport

Première Vision focuses on sport and reinforces its links with the United States. The French exhibition organizer, owner of the homonymous fair, set in motion the new event Première Vision Sports, to cover the growing demand of new textile materials in the sports industry.

The event will celebrate its first edition from 14 to 15 of August in the US city of Portland, where the headquarters of Nike, Under Armour and Columbia, among others, are based and considered the Silicon Valley of sportswear. Première Vision Sports originated after the exhibition organizer tested that market in the last edition of the show in Paris with the launch of the Sport&Tech section.

The event will coincide on dates with The Materials Show, specialized in materials sourcing and components for sports footwear. The Materials Show has a history of 25 years and brings together in each of its two editions in Portland about 300 exhibitors and about 1,500 visitors. The fair is also held twice a year in Wilmington with 200 participating companies and 800 visitors.

Première Vision first leaped across the Atlantic in 2000 with the launch of Première Vision New York, a replica of the event organized in Paris, but focused on the US market.
