Primark keeps pace in the first nine months: grows 4%

Primark keeps the pace in the first nine months. The low cost fashion giant has closed the period with a 4% growth in sales. The group explained that the evolution is due to the increase of its commercial space.

In addition, AB Foods, parent of the group, has indicated that the growth has also been driven by the improvement of sales in markets like Spain, Portugal, France and Italy, while in Germany they have been on the downside.

In the United States, for its part, the group has also increased its sales within the period.

In addition, Primark explained that the company will open new establishments in the country before the end of the year.

As of June 22, the company had 372 establishments. In the third quarter, Primark has opened nine new points of sale in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Slovenia.

Among the openings carried out by the company is the establishment of Birmingham, its largest store in the world, which has 14,800 square meters of surface.
