Prada gets closer to athleisure with Adidas. The Italian luxury brand and the German sportswear company have sealed a long-term collaboration for the launch of a joint collection.
As part of the collaboration, Prada will design and manufacture two models of garments for the German company, which will be available at the end of December. The line will investigate the realms of heritage, technology and innovation.
Prada ended its last fiscal year at double speed. The result of the group shrank 10% in 2018, to 324 million euros, while sales rose 2.8%, to 3,142 million euros. Adidas, meanwhile, closed the year with a revenue of 21.9 million dollars, 3% more than the previous year, while its profit soared 45%, to 1.7 billion dollars.
