Celine diversifies: opens in Paris its first perfume store

Celine bets on cosmetics. The French company, owned by the luxury holding LVMH, has opened a store in Paris that specializes in in perfumery and cosmetics, this is the first one of the company dedicated only for this category.
Matching with the opening of the point of sale, Hedi Slimane has created eleven new perfumes. The company has not launched a new perfume line since 2011, when it repurchased its license from Interparfums.
At the store, the company also sells a line of accessories, which includes travel cases and a toilet kit, as well as hair products, board games or ashtrays, among others. LVMH closed the first nine months of the year with a revenue of 38.3 billion euros, 16% more than in the same period of the previous year.
