Lacoste parent company switches name to MF Brands Group after reaching 3.6 billion dollars in 2019
Maus Frères, the parent company of Lacoste, The Kooples, Gant and Aigle, has increased its sales and announces new name for the group.
Maus Frères reforms. the parent company of Lacoste, The Kooples, Gant and Aigle, has increased its sales to (3.2 billion euros) 3.6 billion dollars at the end of last year. Additionally, Thierry Guibert, board member of the group, has also announced a name change for the group, that will know be known as MF Brands Group, according to WWD.
Leaving out the brand’s licenses, the Swiss group has increased total sales by 15%, to 2.6 billion euros (2.6 billion dollars). Lacoste has focused its resources on growing in new markets and repositioning, which has led the company to fall in volume and sales, as Guibert has confirmed in WWD.
Moreover, the Maus Frères will be named MF Brands Group, as confirmed by the CEO. The changes derive from the part of the strategic group to internationalize its brands.
