Amazon wears Alexa
Amazon wants its wearables to be with its customers twenty-four hours and has launched glasses, headphones and a smart ring with its Alexa technology.
Amazon tries it again. The American ecommerce giant has launched glasses, headphones and a smart ring with its Alexa technology. The products fall into the fashion category of the company without leaving behind its techie side.
Echo Ring, Echo Buds and Eco Frames. They are equipped with speakers and microphones that connect to the smartphone and read aloud emails and text messages, among others. The glasses do not have a camera or display, but they can be adapted with prescription lenses.
The products cost between 180 dollars and 130 dollars and the company has described them as “whispering a secret to Alexa”. At the same time, Amazon launched other smart home products such as an oven, a children’s lamp and a pet tracker.
This is not the first time Amazon mixes technology and fashion. The company launched in 2018 its new version of the Echo Look, an intelligent mirror that, through a camera and using the Alexa voice command and allows customers to try different garments so that they can see how they look and make recommendations of style.
