Bobbi Brown joins the podcast trend with the launch of its new channel. The entrepreneur and founder of the makeup company Bobbi Brown has announces the launch of her podcast: Beyond the Beauty with Bobbi Brown in the United Kingdom, in collaboration with iHeartMedia.

 

The new channel, which will be the second launched by the businesswoman, it will feature interviews by several people from the sector such as makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, photographer Jake Rosenberg, and former J. Crew executive Mickey Drexler, whom Brown considers a mentor, among others.

The popularity of this platform has motivated some of the largest companies in the sector to launch their own podcasts. In October 2017, Chanel took journalist Daphné Hézard and singer Pharrel Williams to Colette to record the first episode of their podcast, 3.55. The French company was followed by many others such as Gucci, Chloé or Hermès.

 

 

 

 

In 2018, 40% of Spanish Internet users tuned podcasts every week. The United States registered 48 million followers of this medium in the same year, according to Reuters Institute.
