The Reminder Bra bank statement notification

C&A, against breast cancer. The Dutch fashion retailer has launched The Reminder Bra, a campaign to raise consumers’ awareness about the importance of carrying out a breast self-examination every month as a prevention technique against breast cancer.

The project began on October 17 and applies to consumers that buy a bra, whose price will be charged in twelve months through their bank account, without any additional costs. This way, clients will receive in their bank statement notification the following reminder: “C&A. Remember your monthly self-examination #TheReminderBra”.

Moreover, from October 18 until October 20 all shoppers that bought bras in C&A stores in Spain and Portugal will receive a text message on their phones, free of charge, every month of the year to remind them about the importance of self-examinations. In month number twelve, consumers will receive another message to remind them they must go to a specialist for their annual check-up.
